In China, people don't get to take the day off on Christmas Day. However, here in Wellturn Technology, we did get to take half of our day off to celebrate this joyful and holly festivity.
We started off by watching a really good movie, "Glory Road", which is an American sports drama film directed by James Gartner, based on a true story surrounding the events leading to the 1966 NCAA University Basketball Championship. The movie had a huge impact on all of us in Wellturn, because it taught us a lot about team work, and how to cooperate with your teammate when facing ordeals.
After watching the movie, we gathered around and celebrated for our accountant, Ms. Guo' s six year anniversary in Wellturn. During her time in this company, she's always been the most hard working person. Other than that, she's also a very caring figure that every time we have troubles in life, we would go to her for counsel, and she'd listen carefully about our trouble and give out the best advice she possible could.
Last but not least, we cheered for some of our colleagues' achievements as our boss, Ms. Yuan, gave out prizes to those who had worked tremendously hard and had the best performances in terms of sales. The prize winners include: Nancy, Maggie, and Levin who had the best performance in three consecutive months and he also had the best sales record in the third and forth quarter of 2018.
We finished the Christmas Party by having a Hot Pot meal altogether. Hot pot has the power to enhance friendship and unite family members or colleagues. We sit around a hot pot, talking and eating, creating a natural closeness atmosphere among us. It was a wonderful moment for all of us in Wellturn.
